2 月 7 日，微軟宣布上線基于 AI 聊天（ChatGPT）的 Bing 和 Edge 浏覽器。

微軟董事會主席和 CEO Satya Nadella 稱，人工智能将改變每個軟件種類，其中就包括最大的子類——搜索。為幫助用戶從搜索和網絡中獲得更多信息，2 月 7 日，微軟宣布上線新版本的基于 AI 聊天的 Bing 和 Edge 浏覽器 Bing 搜索引擎，該引擎基于 OpenAI 的語言模型 ChatGPT，并針對 web 檢索應用進行了針對性訓練。
用戶可以通過點擊網頁（https://www.bing.com/new）的 "Join the waitlist" 來請求使用新版本基于 AI 的 Bing 搜索引擎。然後用戶排隊成功請求被接受後，就會收到一封可以訪問新 Bing 服務的郵件通知。然後就可以在檢索框中使用新 Bing 搜索服務了。新的 Bing 引擎是以聊天形式出現的，如下圖所示：

微軟解釋稱，Bing 的新搜索服務會搜索網絡上的相關内容，然後對搜索到的内容進行總結，最終生成一個響應。此外，還會引用多個數據源，因此用戶可以看到其應用的 web 内容的鍊接。
但微軟稱 Bing 有時候會錯誤表示搜索到的信息，也可能會展示看似可信但不完整、不準确、不适當的信息。因此，用戶在根據 Bing 的結果進行決策時需要檢查相關内容的真實性。
ChatGPT+Edge 浏覽器
新版本的 Edge 浏覽器也加入了 ChatGPT 功能，為用戶提供了 2 個新特征：chat 和 compose。這兩個功能可為用戶總結當前加載頁面的内容或根據提示生成内容。
該功能目前隻在 Microsoft Edge 開發者模式，可以點擊側邊欄的 bing logo 來訪問。但仍需是預覽的一部分。

微軟稱，用戶可以下載 Microsoft Defaults 程序或下載 Bing app 來加速排隊，因為 Microsoft Defaults 程序會将 Edge 和 Bing 設置為默認浏覽器和搜索引擎。
BleepingComputer 測試發現，下載程序并不能立刻訪問 Bing 的 AI 聊天功能，智能将排隊加速。
對于無法訪問預覽版的用戶，微軟提供了用戶可以測試的聊天查詢語句，以幫助用戶了解人工智能搜索引擎是如何工作的：
